Boston Detective DD Warren is back again and better than ever. Her current case is a chilling thriller that holds your interest to the very end. The Rose Killer has killed several women and now DD is also a target. The plot becomes quite intricate and keeps you guessing 'til the unexpected ending. All the Light We Cannot See

Title: All the Light We Cannot See
Author: Anthony Doerr

I enjoy the historic background and mostly enjoyed the descriptive French country cities from Paris to Saint-Malo. The women in this book are really strong individuals from Frau Elena, Jutta, and especially Marie-Laure. Fantastic story of survival during World War II and the parallels between Werner and Marie-Laure and Captain Nemo really had me amazed.

Her Last Whisper

Title: Her Last Whisper
Author: Karen Robards

This is the third book in a series with character Charlotte Stone. The books are a mix of the Ghost Whisperer and Criminal Minds TV series. Enjoyable but I felt that the first two books were better. The storyline is predictable. I would give the book a chance because it is suspenseful and I enjoy the characters. Must read the first two books first though! They are:
1. The Last Victim
2. The Last Kiss Goodbye
A fourth book is in the works.
