     This was such a wonderful story about a pet dog, named Sophie, who was so loved by her family. She went everywhere with them, even on their boat! They were five miles out in the ocean on their boat when it got rough and the dog fell off the boat. They tried to find her but could not. She swam five miles on her own to an island and lived alone for five months, until she was found by rangers and reunited with her family (my favorite part -- wonderful story!)

Very good read. Told by the dog -- an interesting point of view! I would recommend this book to anyone who has had a relationship with a dog.
