Title: The Girl on the Train
Author: Paula Hawkins
Wow! What a ride! This book catches you within the first few pages, and you don't want to put it down! Rachel is divorced, but still in love with Tom, unemployed, and an alcoholic. To avoid telling her roommate, she still acts like she's going to work each morning by commuter train which just so happens to pass behind the house she loved while married. She fantasizes about a couple who live on the block each morning she "commutes". Then the unthinkable happens in Rachel's eyes! She sees another man with this woman and then the woman goes missing! Because Rachel is a drunk and has a harassment history with the ex-husband and his new wife and baby, she is not really taken seriously when she goes to the police. Great twists and turns in this book. You don't want to get off this train!!
