Wonderfully researched mystery-romance novel that continues Roberts' evolution from "simple" romance themes to more complex suspense stories. The plot has many elements of Alfred Hitchcock's movie Rear Window. A house-sitter in a high-rise apartment building is passing the time looking at nearby apartments through binoculars, and witnesses what looks like a murder (of a fashion model). Many plot twists and turns, much humor, a sexy romance and a journey into the high-stakes antiques and collectibles business are hallmarks of this novel.
