Title: Devil in the Grove: Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America.
Author: Gilbert King

A very well-written book about segregation in the South. Its main focus is the famous "Groveland Boys" case fought mainly by Thurgood Marshall as well as others. It took place in Florida where I didn't even realize segregation was so horrific. It gave me a whole new perspective of the horrible treatment of blacks in the Deep South. A very informative book, hard to read in spots because of the "horror" in it, but well worth it overall.
