She is attracted to a much older man who is emotionally fragile yet still so talented. In a short time they fall in love. The story tells of Vincent's tragic struggle with depression and the homeopathic medicines or cures of Marguerite's father, the doctor. The author "paints" such a beautiful novel that I fell in love with Vincent Van Gogh and the beautiful Marguerite!
