Title: Her Last Breath

The book, "Her Last Breath" by Linda Castillo was the 5th book in this series and I have enjoyed reading all of them. That said, while I enjoyed this one, I think it was my least favorite of the series. I enjoy the stories about Kate Burkholder a former Amish who left that life and has become a police chief in her hometown, and look forward to more. This one horrifies you from the start with a deliberate accident whose intent is to kill an Amish family returning to their home at dusk. We then take the ride with Kate to discover the who, how, and why.
