Title: Looking for Alaska

Looking for Alaska tells the story of Miles, a kid obsessed with memorizing famous last words. He is leaving a school where he has no friends to go to a boarding school. At this new school Miles experiences a lot of firsts, first friends, first cigarette, first kiss, first love and first heartbreak. This is a great character driven book that looks inside the mind and the heart of Miles. Although written for a young adult audience, it was a refreshing to read about a different cast of characters and to be brought back to a high school setting where everything is new and exciting.
