The book is about a law clerk who was fired when her boss used her to do illegal politics. She moved home from Washington DC to her father's family home. It is in disrepair. She fixes it up, while meeting awesome folks in the small southern town. The FBI gets involved and uses her to get her boss to admit guilt, which absolves her of the crime. She decides to stay and make a life in her new place! It was an inspiring book.
