Two stories, one set in the present with codebreaker Sara Thomas who deals with Asperger's Syndrome and has difficulty fitting in with people. The second, set in 1732 during the Jacobite times and the court of King James, Mary Dundas, who is tricked by her family into the world of spies, tries to make a life for herself when she is left all alone. Interesting historical romance contrasting with today's challenges to romance.
