Trixie's mom and dad watch as time passes and Jasper never sends for her, realizing that he is the son of the man who ran the estate they had left in England. Then the story tells of the relationship Trixie's mother had with Jasper's father. If you like stories of young love, adultery, and marriage this could be for you.
