Title: Gone Girl

Was it the hype or just me? I found the story line interesting, the story itself boring . . . barely made it through the first third of the book only to see it, happily, pick up in the middle. The investigation finally caught my interest and gave me hope for an astounding ending. I didn't see that happening as I marched through the remaining third portion and was truly unhappy with the bland ending of what started out the same way. Did not see the movie!
