Although a part of the John Corey series, Nightfall can be read as a stand-alone book. John Corey gets involved in the TWA Flight 800 after doing some investigation of old evidence. He finds new leads and has to struggle through red tape from the CIA and FBI. Not as good as the others in the series, the ending is a surprise.
