A Dark and Twisted Tide is a story of Lacey Flint, a London detective who after undergoing a harrowing experience as a detective, decides to join the marine policing unit, and becomes a member of London's river boat community. Of course, murder and mayhem soon follow her. I enjoyed this book, there were times when I didn't want to put it down. Swimming in the river, dead shrouded bodies, and undercover love interest; what more could a lover or murder mysteries ask for.
