A legal thriller with a shocking ending that will surprise most readers. The district attorney's son Jacob is the prime suspect and then accused of the murder of a classmate found stabbed to death in a local park. The father believes in Jacob's innocence. The trial that ensues is quite gripping and leaves the reader in doubt of Jacob's innocence throughout the book. The toll it takes on the entire family is quite apparent. This book is definitely a true "page turner".
